ITT PILATES Programs

Each one of our programs is grounded in anatomy and stems from the ITT Pilates Essential Exercises. Decide which path is right for you. Courses are scheduled on weekends, with Teaching Labs scheduled on weeknights. Depending on which program you choose, plan on spending a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, in addition to the weekend intensives, in order to practice the material and complete the required hours for the Final exam. Our Home Studio, A Body of Work, is available during the weekends and weekdays, at no additional cost, to help you fulfill your hours of self-practice and teaching practice.

All students must complete the Pre-requisite courses: Anatomy & Core Dynamics and Essential Exercises. These courses will give you a solid foundation to build upon your personal movement practice and knowledge of anatomy for sound biomechanics.

This in-depth training incorporates the Essential Exercises as a foundation for the more dynamic exercises included in the mat repertoire. The goal is to provide you with the tools to develop excellent teaching skills and the confidence to become employed as a Pilates Mat Instructor.

The Reformer is the centerpiece of any Pilates studio for developing strength and flexibility. Students who already have their Mat Training from another institution are welcome to join the Reformer Training after completing our prerequisite Foundation courses.

Our ITT Pilates Bridge program makes it possible for you to close the gap if you started your training with another organization and want to finish with it with an ITT Pilates certificate.

The ITT Pilates Comprehensive Training is a career-oriented program. This in-depth training focuses on teaching you how to apply the ITT Pilates principles of sound biomechanics with insightful cueing and the protocols for working with individual needs. Becoming an ITT Pilates Comprehensive Instructor gives you the confidence to teach a variety of individuals and the ability to help people reach their full movement potential.

After completing the Pre-requisite Courses, students are welcome to take any of the Courses individually as a complement to other training they may have.

Throughout the year, Jean teaches a series of Master Level Workshops for ITT Pilates Graduates and other accomplished movement practitioners, including CECs for physical therapists.

“ITT PILATES exceeded my expectations…I am so grateful that I took it and put in the work necessary to do it. I felt Like my craft was enriched so much, and my ability to see people, to see their bodies and their issues was so much improved.”

— Tiffany, ITT PILATES Graduate
